RESEARCH GRANT AWARD: ASSOC. PROF DR NORNISAH MOHAMED ATTAINED A GRANT FROM SCFE TECH SDN. BHD. 2016

Our Deputy Dean (Academic, Students affair and Alumni), Assoc. Prof. Dr Nornisah Mohamed from Pharmaceutical Chemistry Discipline was awarded a substantial research grant by SCFE Tech Sdn. Bhd. The grant, entitled “Supercritical fluid extraction for the enhancement of secondary metabolites from Malaysian herbs” was initially a joined initiative between Prof. Dr Zhari Ismail and Dr Nornisah through an MoA between USM and the SCFE Tech Sdn. Bhd. It was recently awarded to Dr Nornisah and Mr Mohd Shahrul Ridzuan Hamil as the co-researcher for a period of three years. This achievement was respectfully recognized by USM and it is hoped that through this grant, Assoc. Prof. Dr Nornisah will contribute significantly to the advancement of USM as APEX University through development of research and innovation in the country.
