RESEARCH GRANT AWARD: ASSOC. PROF. DR ASRUL AKMAL SHAFIE WON MAKNA CANCER RESEARCH AWARD 2016

Assoc. Prof. Dr Asrul Akmal Shafie from Social and Administrative Pharmacy Discipline PPSF was awarded the Majlis Kanser Negara (MAKNA) Cancer Research Award 2016. The award, entitled “Prioritizing optimal access to cancer treatment in Malaysia: A Multicriteria Decision Analysis approach” was given out to the recipients on 27th of April 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, by one of the founding father of PPSF USM’s Social and Administrative Pharmacy Discipline, Tan Sri Dato Prof. Dzulkifli Abdul Razak who is also the MAKNA Trustee Board Member and former Vice-Chancellor of USM. It is our utmost hope that through this grant, beneficial knowledge will be generated in improving the overall patients’ access to cancer treatment in Malaysia.
