Fatimatuzzahra' binti Abd. Aziz, Dr.

Dr. Fatimatuzzahra’ has been a dedicated Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences since 2008, bringing over a decade and a half of academic and professional experience to her role. As a registered pharmacist, she has developed a robust foundation in various aspects of pharmacy practice and education, which she integrates into her teaching and research.

Her research expertise is broad and multifaceted, with a particular focus on personalized health and medicine, where she explores how individualized treatment strategies can improve patient outcomes. In the field of metabolomics and pharmacometabolomics, Dr. Fatimatuzzahra’ investigates the complex interactions between drugs and metabolic pathways, aiming to uncover biomarkers that can predict drug efficacy and toxicity.

In addition to her work in clinical pharmacy, Dr. Fatimatuzzahra’ has a specialized interest in nephrology pharmacy. She also actively engages in research on traditional and complementary medicine, seeking to bridge the gap between conventional and alternative therapeutic approaches.

Dr. Fatimatuzzahra’ is highly skilled in the use of advanced analytical techniques, with a particular emphasis on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). Her expertise in NMR allows her to conduct in-depth analyses of biochemical compounds, which is essential for her research in metabolomics and beyond. Her work not only contributes to the academic community but also has practical implications for improving patient care and treatment outcomes.
