In this course, you will explore the topic of Extended Services in Clinical Pharmacy. As the name suggests, Extended Services in Clinical Pharmacy refers to the expansion of traditional or conventional pharmacy services, such as inpatient and outpatient pharmacy. The course will focus on three main subtopics: the Medication Therapy Adherence Clinic (MTAC), the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (AMS), and the Medication Safety Program. These are among the most prominent extended services pharmacists can offer, with the primary objective of enhancing pharmaceutical care for patients.


Forensic Pharmacy: Registration of Pharmacists Act 1951

This module is part of the Forensic Pharmacy & Ethics Course (FAR381). This module describes and explains the key legislation that governs the advertisement of medicines. This module introduces the Medicines (Advertisement & Sale) Act 1956 (revised 1983), the Medicine Advertisement Board Regulations 1976 and its relevant guidelines. It also examines the roles and functions of the Medicine Advertisement Board and aims to equip students with the competency in interpretations and reasoning pertaining to medicine advertisements in Malaysia.
