MSc (Pharmaceutical Sciences)
The research areas include metabolomics/ metabonomics, pharmacometabolomics/ pharmacometabonomics, genomics/ pharmacogenomics, traditional & complementary medicine, and all other related fields from other disciplines.
MSc (Clinical Pharmacy)
The research areas include therapeutics, hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy, public health pharmacy, clinical medicines, medication counselling, therapeutic drug monitoring, parenteral nutrition, ambulatory care pharmacy, oncology pharmacy, paediatric pharmacy, and geriatric pharmacy.
MSc (Pharmaceutical Technology)
The research areas include design and development of novel drug delivery systems, bioavailability studies, characterisation of pharmaceutical formulations and materials, pharmaceutical biotechnology, bioinformatics and molecular modelling, and pharmaceutical microbiology.
MSc (Pharmacology)
The research areas include pharmacology in various systems, pharmacokinetics, pharmacology in traditional medicine and natural products, biotechnology, pharmacogenomics, neurosciences, and toxicology.
MSc (Social & Administrative Pharmacy)
The research areas include social pharmacy, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacy management, pharmaceutical marketing, pharmacoinformatics, pharmacy practice, public health pharmacy, health-related quality of life studies, pharmaceutical financing, health systems reseaerch and pharmaceutical policy.
MSc (Physiology)
The research areas include role and function of kidney in diseases, screening of potentially bioacgive plant extracts, autonomic regulation and neurohumoral control of cardiovascular and renal systems, and stem cell transplantation.
MSc (Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
The research areas include natural product and herbal research, isolation and characterisation of chemical constituents, standardisation, quality control and herbal monographs, pharmacokinetics and stability studies, principal components analysis, biological activity studies, proteomics of medicinal plants, metabolism, medicinal chemistry, SAR, synthesis, protemoic analysis of breast and colon cancers, cell culture, cancer biology and molecular biology, drug discovery and molecular modelling, cell-based and biochemical assays, and halal pharmaceutical and standards.
