BEST RESEARCH AWARD 2017 FROM MALAYSIAN SOCIETY OF NEPHROLOGY & INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF NEPHROLOGY

A research group led by a senior lecturer in School of Pharmaceutical Science, Dr Amer Hayat Khan was conferred The Best Research Award 2017 from Malaysian Society of Nephrology & International Society of Nephrology during the 1st Asia Pacific AKI CRRT 2017 Conference in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur from 20 to 23 August 2017. The conference was held in conjunction with the 33rd Annual Congress of Malaysian Society of Nephrology. The award was received by Mr Tauqeer Hussain Mallhi, a PhD student in the research group for his presentation entitled “Development of predictive equation for acute kidney injury among dengue patients: Findings from a large retrospective cohort”. Three other researchers involved in this study are Mr Azreen Syazril Adnan, Prof. Dr Azmi Sarriff and Yusra Habib Khan. Heartiest congratulations to Dr Amer Hayat and team. Keep up the good work.
