REGISTRATION AND OATH TAKING CEREMONY OF FIRST YEAR PHARMACY STUDENTS 2017/2018

The registration of new batch of students in USM was conducted in all three campuses on 3rd of September 2017. Among the nearly 4000 students enrolled in the different campuses, 118 of them were accepted into School of Pharmaceutical Sciences USM. On the 5^th of September, the students spent an afternoon at the school and they were briefed by the Dean of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prof Dr Habibah A. Wahab on the administrative and academic structure of the school. During the same session, all the academic staffs were introduced and the students were given one academic advisor to help them plan their course and as an advisor for problems that they may face during their four years of study. At the end of the session, an oath taking ceremony was conducted headed by Mr Muhamad Daniel Murshid, a representative from the first year students. The oath is important as an initial drive for the students to have good spirit and to boost up their morale before embarking on the challenging journey to become a pharmacist.
